How to get a forklift licence in Melbourne?
- Find an authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides comprehensive forklift courses and practical training.
- Apply for a course and enrol into a certified training organisation that suits you best. To find the closest RTO to you visit the MySkills website which offers a handy search tool to locate a suitable provider.
- After you’ve completed your training and theory components, you will then need to take a written and practical examination.
- Once you have successfully passed all the required training, the RTO will provide you with the below documents:
– Statement of Attainment
– Notice of Assessment
– AS1 Application Form - To lodge an application with WorkSafe, you’ll need to have all the above documents in order. Once you’ve filled out the necessary forms, head to your nearby Australia Post to lodge them.
